Girls Varsity Basketball Game on January 8, 2025

By: Trevor Mbayo

On Wednesday, the girls’ varsity basketball team competed against Mercersburg Academy in an away game.  They competed against formidable opponents and unfortunately lost 19-66. Their adversaries were 6’ feet and above and played ruthlessly on the court. Despite the unfavorable score, the Saints put up a strong effort and played with determination until the end. The top scorers were Tenley Mullendore (4th form), Nara Lopez Melero (4th form), Claire Barnes (6th form), and Lily Schlotterbeck (5th form). The team’s valiance on the court was truly formidable and demonstrated their overall resilience. The Saints are set to play Mercersburg Academy once more in February and, with the experience gained, the rematch is certainly going to be a remarkable improvement.
